As per UGC and University mandates, the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) addresses cases of sexual harassment with confidentiality, sensitivity, and due process. Awareness programs are conducted regularly to ensure a safe environment for all.
Functions of the ICC:
- Address and resolve complaints related to sexual harassment in a time-bound manner.
- Organize workshops & awareness programs to sensitize the campus community.
- Recommend measures to promote a gender-sensitive environment on campus.
Reporting Mechanism:
Any person who experiences or witnesses sexual harassment is encouraged to report the matter to the ICC. Camplaints can be submitted in writing or via email to the ICC at grievance@aiat.edu.in
All complaints will be handled with utmost confidentiality and impartiality to ensure fairness and justice.
Awareness Initiatives:
The ICC will regularly conduct awareness programs and workshops on gender sensitivity, prevention of sexual harassment, and legal rights. Details of the upcoming events will be communicated through the college website, notice boards & group messages.
