More Than 100 Participants Take Part in the Second Edition Held on 14 November 2025
The Auroville Institute of Applied Technology (AIAT) proudly hosted India’s second official international Cloudflight Coding Contest (CCC) on 14 November 2025, marking a spirited leap forward for coding culture in the region. What began as an ambitious dream—to make global competitions accessible to students near Auroville—is now promoting coding talent among young students.
This year’s CCC became a milestone moment. With over 100 enthusiastic participants, the contest far exceeded expectations and showcased a vibrant blend of young learners, college students, teachers, and industry professionals, all eager to tackle real-world problem-solving through code.
The event featured both the School Track and Classic Track, allowing students of various ages and skill levels to join the global challenge simultaneously with participants from around the world. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as teams and individuals worked intensely against the clock, exploring logic, creativity, and computational thinking.
Highlights of the Second Contest in 2025
-
A Remarkable Growth Story: What once began with 25 participants has now expanded fourfold, illustrating the rising passion for coding within Auroville and the surrounding regions.
-
School Track: Students from local schools demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm and curiosity. Many were participating in an international coding event for the first time, and their energy set a lively tone throughout the contest.
-
Classic Track: AIAT students, teachers, alumni, and external participants joined the competition, turning it into a vibrant, collaborative arena. A proud moment for the institution came when the AIAT College Principal secured the first place, proving that leadership at AIAT is deeply rooted in hands-on engagement and continuous learning.
The contest was more than just a competition—it was a celebration of innovation, inclusivity, and global collaboration. Participants were awarded official certificates, custom-made prizes, and the recognition of being part of a growing international community of coders.
Looking Ahead
The success of this year’s Cloudflight Coding Contest reflects AIAT’s ongoing commitment to fostering a strong technical foundation among students, encouraging curiosity-driven learning, and creating platforms that connect learners to global opportunities. With this momentum, the institute is already gearing up to expand its coding and technology initiatives even further in the coming years.
AIAT extends its heartfelt appreciation to Cloudflight, all volunteers, teachers, partners, and participants who made the Second Edition of CCC a truly inspiring event. The journey continues—and the future looks brighter than ever for the next generation of coders.
